Hi Yvonne

Could I ask a few questions before I try to answer this one?
  • 1. Are you talking about your home computer or one at work?
    2. Which operating system are you using?
    3. Are you on a network?
    4. I am assuming you are on Broadband - Is that right?
    5. Are you using Outlook (part of Office) or Outlook Express (part of Windows)
    6. Which AntiVirus program are you using
Email programs usually throw an error if the email client
  • can't logon to the email server due to a wrong username, password or server login
Is running faster than the connection
Is using the wrong protocol POP3, IMAP or HTTP
    The authentication is wrong
As you can see from this list it is not an easy subject to address, let me know how you are setup and I will do what I can to help

Bob
